Diemme is inspired by the heritage of hiking boots that have been made for centuries in our home region in Italy’s spectacular Dolomite mountains. Diemme designs evolve those traditions, using the finest materials and techniques to make hiking boots and sneakers that go the distance in mountain terrains or pounding city sidewalks.

We make all Diemme products under one roof at our family factory in Onè di Fonte, Veneto, a small town in north-eastern Italy. For centuries, this region has been regarded as the spiritual home of handmade outdoor footwear. Every Diemme pair is hand-crafted by expert workers producing limited production runs of high-quality artisan products. Diemme is sold by of some of the world’s most esteemed retailers.

  • The Licata Mid, a new style from Diemme introduced this season, builds on the original Licata with a mid-profile construction that extends above the ankle for added support. Inspired by late 1990s and early 2000s athletic footwear, it combines a sporty character with a refined Made in Italy approach.

    A more minimal take on the silhouette, the upper is crafted from Italian bovine leather with a clean finish, refined stitching, and piping around the heel that adds subtle definition. The extended ankle construction, combined with elastic lacing and a cord stopper, provides a secure, adjustable fit and easy entry. 

    The Licata Mid sits on the Vibram Roots outsole, designed for comfort and stability. Its low-profile construction keeps the shoe lightweight while providing support for everyday wear, from city streets to easy trails.
