Diemme is inspired by the heritage of hiking boots that have been made for centuries in our home region in Italy’s spectacular Dolomite mountains. Diemme designs evolve those traditions, using the finest materials and techniques to make hiking boots and sneakers that go the distance in mountain terrains or pounding city sidewalks.
We make all Diemme products under one roof at our family factory in Onè di Fonte, Veneto, a small town in north-eastern Italy. For centuries, this region has been regarded as the spiritual home of handmade outdoor footwear. Every Diemme pair is hand-crafted by expert workers producing limited production runs of high-quality artisan products. Diemme is sold by of some of the world’s most esteemed retailers.
The Y/PROJECT x DIEMME collaboration stays true to the identity of both brands by combining high quality sustainable performance footwear with a Y/PROJECT design twist. Both the Civetta and Grappa hiking boots feature a detachable sheer cover that attaches via a series of small hooks on the sides of the boot and can be styled with the covers attached asymmetrically or in the classic manner. Each shoe is handmade at the Calzaturificio Diemme factory in Veneto, Italy using quality Diemme practices.
To celebrate the anniversary, Diemme and 10 Corso Como are launching a two-style collaboration rooted in the union of the past and the present. The Diemme icon Roccia Vet is designed in an all-black leather with details in a 10 Corso Como brocade textile. The Diemme Grappa Hiker, a low-cut boot inspired by day hikes to the pristine and local Monte Grappa, in an all-black leather with details in a 10 Corso Como brocade textile.
