Diemme is inspired by the heritage of hiking boots that have been made for centuries in our home region in Italy’s spectacular Dolomite mountains. Diemme designs evolve those traditions, using the finest materials and techniques to make hiking boots and sneakers that go the distance in mountain terrains or pounding city sidewalks.
We make all Diemme products under one roof at our family factory in Onè di Fonte, Veneto, a small town in north-eastern Italy. For centuries, this region has been regarded as the spiritual home of handmade outdoor footwear. Every Diemme pair is hand-crafted by expert workers producing limited production runs of high-quality artisan products. Diemme is sold by of some of the world’s most esteemed retailers.
The Sweden-based brand Très Bien partners up with Diemme to rework Cornaro. The Très Bien for Diemme Cornaro is a low-cut hiking style
shoe in full grain leather, a lugged rubber sole and easy-roller
shiny metal hardware. The all-black full grain is draped in a
bottle green rubber rand with matching laces, the upper and
tongue is rounded off with black Italian neoprene fabric. The
second version is the full grain Mogano, with a pop-red rubber
rand with matching red laces, black sole, and black neoprene
details. The idea behind the shoe was to make a super visible
hiking style shoe that can easily take part in a more fashion
forward context without it feeling forced. With that idea, we
asked Rory and Jack from London based Orienteer Mapazine
to style a shoot using select pieces from Très Bien.
