Diemme is inspired by the heritage of hiking and work boots that have been made for centuries in our home region in Italy’s spectacular Dolomite mountains. Diemme designs evolve those traditions, using the finest materials and techniques to make premium boots and contemporary leisure footwear.

We make all Diemme products under one roof at our family factory in Onè di Fonte, Veneto, a small town in north-eastern Italy. For centuries, this region has been regarded as the spiritual home of handmade outdoor footwear. Every Diemme pair is hand-crafted by expert workers producing limited production runs of high-quality artisan products. Diemme is sold by some of the world’s most esteemed retailers.

  • The Cornaro is one of Diemme's best-selling styles, rebuilt for Diemme Donna. The silhouette keeps its traditional Alpine references and classic D-rings, with the proportions drawn over a narrower last. The upper is a dense wool felt in dark brown, felted in Italy from mulesing-free fleece – matted rather than woven, which is where it gets its body. It is stitched to the outsole using the ideal stitch technique – no applied welt, just the stitch, so the sole can be replaced rather than rebuilt – and paired with a padded ankle in grained leather. This pair comes with flat woolmix laces. The Stella Alpina pin symbolizes the Alpine mountain flower, commonly used across footwear from the Dolomites. The Vibram outsole gives a sturdy foundation for city streets and easy trails. Handcrafted in Italy.
