Diemme is inspired by the heritage of hiking boots that have been made for centuries in our home region in Italy’s spectacular Dolomite mountains. Diemme designs evolve those traditions, using the finest materials and techniques to make hiking boots and sneakers that go the distance in mountain terrains or pounding city sidewalks.

We make all Diemme products under one roof at our family factory in Onè di Fonte, Veneto, a small town in north-eastern Italy. For centuries, this region has been regarded as the spiritual home of handmade outdoor footwear. Every Diemme pair is hand-crafted by expert workers producing limited production runs of high-quality artisan products. Diemme is sold by of some of the world’s most esteemed retailers.

  • Rooted in everyday movement, the Bardolino Mid blends an elegant, sporty profile with refined materials and understated technical details. A padded, mid-ankle length adds support and warmth in colder conditions, while the build stays soft and flexible without losing structure where it matters.

    The upper is crafted from Italy's finest suede leather, chosen for its velvety touch and deep, saturated colour. Naturally water-repellent, the suede holds its elevated appearance even in rough weather. Italian nappa leather adds softness and contrast, finished with an aniline treatment that enhances uniformity while preserving the leather's natural character.

    Sport-inspired details define the construction: a mesh tongue for breathability and a nappa leather rand for durability. The absence of hardware keeps the design light, clean and balanced, letting proportions and materials do the work. Built on the Vibram Roots 826K outsole, the Bardolino Mid pairs an XS Trek compound for dependable traction with a midsole engineered for shock absorption and balanced energy return.
